Carving Linen Fold Panels:
The Linen Fold is named for its appearance of folded fabric. The design dates back to the end of the gothic period of the
14th & 15th Century. It's characteristically done in oak, and can be as simple Parchment Folds or as complex Multi Layer
Fold Back that imitate Embroidery Lace.
One of the favorite use for Linen Fold was in panels for Coffer, Door, & Screens. They have also been used to decorate the
walls of mansions and galleries.
